Bruce Ganger | Moving Toward a Hunger Solution

One out of six adults is actively hungry. One out of four children is food insecure. But what does hunger look like? What does hunger feel like? Speaker Bruce Ganger lays out a simple solution to one of humanity’s most fundamental problems.

Bruce is recently retired as the Executive Director of Bounty & Soul (www.bountyandsoul.org), a community-based non-profit providing access to fresh produce and wellness education for everyone.

Prior to Bounty & Soul, Bruce was the President & CEO of Feeding Northeast Florida and the Feeding America member food bank from 2011 – 2015. Feeding Northeast Florida rescues and Feeding Northeast Florida rescues and provides more than 31 million meals to families in need throughout Northeast Florida.

In 2006 Bruce founded ISF Group with his wife, Peg, to assist nonprofits with development, messaging and fundraising. During the first five years ISF Group grew to serve more than 60 clients. Prior to starting ISF Group, Bruce had a very blessed 25-year corporate career where he held many senior and executive sales and marketing positions with Xerox, Eastman Kodak and Océ Technologies BV, and his own software company.

He is widely written on the topics of channel and product strategies and has edited two books about personalized marketing. He has a B.A. in Sociology from Indiana University and an MBA in Business Management from Almeda University. As a Kellogg National Fellow (1987-1990), Bruce traveled extensively in the United States and abroad studying leadership and innovation from a global perspective. Bruce serves on the board of Aviation Influence (www.aviationinfluence.org).

Bruce and his wife, Peg, have three grown children, six grandchildren and live in Waynesville, North Carolina. He enjoys playing golf, reading and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and mentoring young professionals in their career development and education.
