What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxJacksonville, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxJacksonville event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Morton Perry | with Zack Wing

Saxophonist Morton Perry and guitarist Zack Wing are members of the Morton Perry Band, Northeast Florida’s dynamic instrumental quartet. They have appeared regularly at a surprising assortment of venues throughout Jacksonville, performing a wide variety of musical genres including smooth jazz, blues, pop, holiday and gospel favorites, children classics, holiday and gospel favorites, and children’s classics. According to Perry, his saxophone keeps opening doors. His life has taken on the feel of “a Disney movie. It’s like I’m living an American dream.”
