David Johnson
Licensee, Co-Organizer & Director of Communications
David is a proud alum of both Stanton and the University of North Florida. Most recently, he completed a Masters degree in public affairs and public policy at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He has previously worked as the director of public policy for JAX Chamber, as a staff writer for The Florida Times-Union, as arts and entertainment editor for Folio Weekly magazine and as a pharmacy technician for Mayo Clinic.
Currently, he works in public affairs for a financial services organization. He still takes occasional assignments as a writer, writing coach and consultant. David holds the license for TEDxJacksonville, serves as the organization’s Co-Organizer and Director of Communications, and enjoys volunteering in the community. He has previously volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Northeast Florida and has served on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus and the Friends of the GTM Reserve in St. Johns County. He is a member of the 2021 class of the FBI Jacksonville Citizens Academy, the 2020 class of the Stein Fellowship, and served in the Blueprint for Leadership program with HandsOn Jacksonville.
